Re: [wmii] Inferno/Styx

Not quite what I asked, but it made me smile, anyway. It's allways nice to
hear from like minded folks. Never pass up the opportunity for a good rant :)

Oh, and in reply to a message a little further down in the thread, Java still
"is" :( It's still being pushed like crazy and is just about the only language
least 1st through 3rd year programming students even see. It's also being
pushed like crazy in industry. And the worst part is that the methodology
that's so prevalent in the Java world is absolutely disgusting. I don't even
want to think of the tangled web woven out of classes and interfaces that
people implement to solve the simplisticst problems; look at the standard library.
It goes far beyond the mess that is Java 7++. At most the Python/Ruby people
usually wind up turning out sane OO code. I think I should stop here. I could
rant for hours on this subject.
