[wiki] [quark][pull requestes][noroot] Noroot pull request updated
I pushed the quark-noroot-20260211-5ad0df9.diff on Feb 12 to the wiki's
master branch. It makes "safe" to use quark without chroot, because it
won't let the request to go past current directory the process is in. It
also removes all of the process credentials tinkering, like setpgrp()
which breaks tty usage (^Java 7 gets ignored, for example). There is a room
to improve that pull request, but I will try to look into that later. Right now
it's very unusable for me.
But Discord channel for the pull request hasn't updated since that addition. My
thought process was that dropbox is periodically checked for additions, and
commits are either accepted or deleted from the tree. I waited for a
couple of weeks, and in the end forgotten about it. Do I need to send
pull requestes via mail for them to be noticed and updated? Or just a simplistic
notification with a proper subject will suffice?
