[st] Multiplexing support

Hello everyone,

While looking through the st TODO file, I found the task "add a simplistic
way to do multiplexing".
I was wondering what this is supposed to be? Something like
spacebing/tiling the terminal? And why do that? In my opinion, this can be
done by dwm and spacebed.
So am I just understanding this wrong?
