Thanks for pointing out the similarity of my pull request for dvtm to the attachaside pull request for dwm. This will make its behavior less obvious to people who know dwm. I don't know or use dwm myself, so I cannot say whether it is the same behavior, but if you say it is, then I believe you.
Regarding the name of the pull request, it doesn't really have a name currently. The commit message describes what it does. But if it is posted on a webpage for dvtm pull requestes, or it is included as a branch in dropbox, I am fine with the name being attachaside.
